Based in Rotterdam, Mama is one of the Netherlands' leading contemporary visual arts organisations. Besides redesigning their website, Albedo specified and implemented an overall content management system.
The system allows easy creation of pages and event listings, together with inbuilt maintenance of archives and searchability on what is proving to be a very large and successful site.
We continue to work with Mama to ensure the success of their internet-based art initiatives. In particular, we are currently administering their online learning programme based on the highly successful Moodle Virtual Learning Environment.

The West London Community Grid

West London's primary portal for continuing education and training incorporates powerful knowledge management systems designed by Albedo Systems. Besides overall content management, the site carries three major educational directories. Extensive maintenance options allow an unparalleled flexibility in managing these.
Our work on this site is ongoing, and several sub-systems remain to be launched. We are continuing to liaise with the site's content managers to evaluate the feasibility of new requirements - and provide some ideas of our own.

The primary adult education site for a London local authority renowned for being in the technical forefront. A powerful form-driven content management system allows the site managers to easily publish thousands of course pages. Multiple formats are supported, including a mirror site that is optimised for disability access. The site is also fully searchable, both for words and phrases and also by times and locations of courses.

The International Longevity Centre - UK

ILC-UK operates as an independent think-tank, the UK node in an international network, empowering decision makers from government, business, the professions, academia and the media, to address the issues of longevity, our ageing populations and life-course planning.
Albedo was responsible for reorganising their site, which had grown considerably over time, and added a full content management system to allow rapid updating and archival of their online resources. Searchability on the site includes pdfs and other publications.

A united effort to raise awareness of the importance and the urgency of the issue of malnutrition and to build an agenda for action at the European level.
This site is still in its infancy as of August 2005. It has been delivered rapidly, complete with content management system, to cover ENHA's first conference in September. Subsequently it will become the main website for this Europe-wide organisation, so the site has been designed to be highly extensible.
